Last updated: 31 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Acadnovia (“we”, “us”) collects through acadnovia.com and our communication channels, why we use it, and the choices and rights you have. We aim to meet the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, Canada’s PIPEDA, applicable US state privacy laws, the UAE PDPL and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who we are
Acadnovia provides research, validation, data-analysis and research-mentoring services online, operated from India. For any privacy question or request, email hello@acadnovia.com.
Data we collect
- Enquiry and quote forms: name, email, country, phone/WhatsApp (optional), organisation (optional), service of interest, project details, deadline and the pages you clicked before enquiring.
- Messages: anything you send us by email or WhatsApp.
- Project materials: documents and data you share for a project, handled under our Terms and any NDA.
- Analytics (only with your consent): pages viewed, clicks, device and approximate location, via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.
- Technical logs: IP address and browser information recorded by our hosting provider for security.
Why we use it
- To reply to enquiries and send proposals (steps you request before entering a contract).
- To deliver contracted services and invoice for them (performance of a contract).
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam (legitimate interests).

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working and remember your cookie choice. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) are set only if you click “Accept analytics”. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s data in your browser; the banner will then appear again.
Who we share it with
- Hostinger — website hosting and email.
- Google (Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity) — only with your consent.
- Meta (WhatsApp) — if you choose to message us there.
- Subject experts working on your project, bound by confidentiality.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
International transfers
We operate from India and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where data leaves the UK, EU or other protected regions, we rely on recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses offered by our providers.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months.
- Client project records and invoices: as long as tax law requires (typically up to 8 years).
- Project files and data: deleted or returned within 90 days of completion unless you ask otherwise or the contract says differently.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent. Email hello@acadnovia.com; we reply within one month. You can also complain to your local regulator — for example the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Security
The site uses HTTPS encryption. Access to project files is limited to the people working on your project. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Children
Our services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
